Probably the most easiest way to start making money online with your content site or blog is to use google’s adsense.
It may take a day or so to get let into the adsense program but once in just add the adds around your site and start making money. Well its not quite as easy as that to make money online,as you need traffic. But till then here some tips to entice the visitors you do have make you more money.
1.For instance if you put four images above a 720×90 Leaderboard ad, this will normally grab the visitors attention to the ads and in theory you should get a higher CTR.
2.Research has it that the most clicked through ad unit is the 336×280 Large Rectangle.
3.Most people who use adsense tend to cram there site or blog with the maximum amount of ads allowed, thinking they will bring in more money.
But from past experience this isn’t the case, why?
3.i. Craming as many ads as possible acts as a deterent and visitors just close the page.
3.ii. When you place an ad unit on your site or blog google will automatically put the highest paid ads in that unit, add another unit and the ads will lower and lower in price.
Meaning less money for your click throughs assuming people click them ads.
Affiliate Marketing
Another way to start making money online from your website or blog is to promote products or services through affiliate marketing.
If your not sure what affiliate marketing is here is a quick overview.
Affiliate marketing is risk-free form of advertising in which a company pays its Affiliate partners a commission for sales and/or leads generated through the Affiliates marketing activities.
So how can you make money online from affiliate marketing?
You could either browse through search engines by typing keywords like “become an affiliate” “affiliates sign up” etc or you could sign up to clickbank.com.

Now once you have signed up you need to choose a product to promote, you might want to have a quick read through and see if there is a product that you would want to buy yourself (its always good to be interested in what your selling).
A great thing about clickbank is that it lists all the products which have the best percentage payout. For example in the “Money and Employment” category, “Data entry pro” is the top paying affiliate program; it pays 75% of each sale not bad!
When you see a product you like visit the website and look for information on how to be an affiliate they should give you a link like this http://xxxxx.dataentry.hop.clickbank.net/ just fill the xxxxxx with you’re clickbank name and you’re ready!

If you are feeling stuck, maybe you relate to the following story of making money online.

Pamela started getting ready to make money online. She went to seminars that taught how to make money online and learned what she needed to know. She began to follow the steps outlined.

I don’t want to do the technical work of setting up the process.” This is when you hire someone else to do a lot of the work for you, if you’ve been able to make money online enough to afford it by this time.

You want to earn money online, don’t you? The question I hear the most is “How can I make money online?”

If you are new to the idea of making money online, I would like to suggest something to you that NO OTHER INTERNET MARKETING GUIDE would dream of telling you. And that is…

Beware of the pitch page! Watch out!. You are vulnerable and the pitch page will play to that weakness. The pitch page will hone in on your hot buttons like a laser guided missile to your heart.

I am not a “guru”. I’d like to be but I don’t know enough yet. I do have lots of experience examining the various ways and means of Making Money Online. I have seen scams for what they are. I have lost money to people who advertised a guarantee. I’ve read marketing ideas that were laughable.

What I have found is that there are a lot of experienced Internet Marketers out there who know exactly how to sell you a system of marketing. The info in it may be good and often is. But something is missing. (more on that later)

I’ve also read some really good marketing guides or programs and I’ve come to some conclusions that I KNOW are right! These are good, honest, useable guides and reports you can use to make money online.

How do I know this? First, I am currently using them!

Second, a little bit of my history would probably be appropriate here. I go back quite a ways. I have been my own boss for approximately 40 years. I was always in sales. I often did very well at it. I married a great gal and had two sons who now run one of the businesses I started. They are doing well at that.

There was always one thing that bothered me the whole way through, and that was the fact that my businesses were very expensive to run. And, they were COMPLICATED! They took years to master. Back then I had the time.

Now I’m looking for ways to make money online. There’s a steep learning curve here. I have to keep it simple. I’m going to learn some of the basic skills, pick a direction (plan) and do it until I am good at it. (When I wrote this I had not yet started but now I am under way.)

So, a while back I started looking around for an online marketing business (sales). It’s all I really know. I had one prime criteria for that business. It had to have almost no overhead (expenses) and it had to have potential for good profits. It had to be something that was definitely do-able, on the level, wouldn’t kill me with work load, and made me some money! And finally, it had to be honest. I felt better if the person selling me the Internet Marketing Method would speak to me directly if necessary.

So, my emphasis is in getting people who are interested in Internet Marketing started off on a good path. I think the first thing you need is Skills!

Did you know that there are many ways to make money online that don’t have anything to do with selling get-rich programs? Many! Here’s a few…Acne, Weight Loss, Dating, Baldness, Dogs, Cars and at least a hundred others. Add to that the fact that some of these are bigger than the whole get-rich-online sideshow and maybe you would agree that you might just have to go to school and maybe decide on a major!

Maybe you are already aware of the fact that there are Online IM schools and you just haven’t settled down and started. Maybe you didn’t know and, now that you do, you are a little more interested. Either way, you might like to know a little about what its like inside one of these schools.
